Item Spread

The Item Spread widget shows you how many items from each SRS category are currently in your Reviews queue. This gives you a clear picture of where your workload sits within the SRS stages and helps you manage your study pace effectively.

You can choose between Table or Graph views. The graph shows individual SRS stages while the table shows data aggregated by the named SRS categories (apprentice, guru, master, enlightened, and burned).

Table View

The Table view shows the total count of items in each SRS category and further breaks this count down by item type (radical, kanji, and vocabulary).

When the widget does not have enough room to display the radical, kanji, and vocabulary counts, you can still access these by clicking on the appropriate row.

Graph View

In Graph view, hovering over any bar reveals the total number of items in that SRS level. For a further breakdown by item type, click on Details in the top-right corner. Note that Graph View does not display Burned items, as its purpose is to help you quickly decide whether to take on more lessons.

To maintain a steady pace of reviews, it’s best to keep your apprentice item count consistent. If your apprentice count rises higher than usual, consider pausing Lessons until you return to a number you’re comfortable with. By keeping an eye on your Item Spread, you can balance your workload, avoid Reviews overload, and make more informed decisions about when to study new material.
